Recent Highlights

*Early English Arts & Crafts Revival at the Shawangunks, Gardiner, NY*: This hidden treasure was built on the former foundation of an early 1980s spec home. We envisioned a home worthy of the spectacular site, with newly framed vistas and an abundance of lights and hand-crafted detailing. The design took cues from the owner's beloved collection of handmade artisanal glassware.

*18th Century Farmhouse: Studio & Additions, Krumville, NY*: This hillside farmhouse transformation has developed over time through a series of alterations and additions. We have completed a new entry, screen porch and shed dormer additions to the main house, a subsequent detached new ceramics studio, and more recent complimentary additions, including new dining, living, and screened-in porch spaces, as well as new entry and connection links.

James Lyman Reynolds Architect, P.C., founded in early 2001, consists of two licensed architects, a project manager, and a network of freelancers and consultants. Our team has extensive experience working on various residential, commercial, and institutional projects in the Hudson River Valley and beyond. Our clients range from individual homeowners and property developers to larger investors and national business chains. Regardless of size, we address each project with an open approach in search of a creative expression while maintaining practical diligence.
