Our family-owned and operated business has been dedicated to providing personalized service with approachable, friendly staff. Our History

Our journey began in 1972 when Carl Van Ness, a Facilities Manager and Business Director of a historic downtown high-rise, recognized the need for professional, quality commercial cleaning services in Rochester, NY. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, formal education in Accounting from Penn State, and numerous business connections in Rochester, Carl felt he had what it took to start his own cleaning company. Sidestep with his wife Angie, Carl hand-picked and personally trained employees, researched the latest methods of providing their services and running their business.

Throughout the years, Cavco Services has grown and expanded, serving customers in three counties with 48 full-time and part-time employees. We take pride in continuing to serve our early clients, some of whom we have been serving for over 30 years. In 1985, Angie and Carl decided to dedicate their full energies to expanding the business. They each left their full-time jobs and began actively pursuing the work usually awarded to larger, more established contractors. Today, Cavco Services is a NYS Certified Woman-Owned Business, proudly operated by Roseann Van Ness Bruner, General Manager, and Angie Van Ness, owner.
