Welcome to Oleksak Lumber Company, a family-owned and operated business that has been serving Western Massachusetts for over 100 years. Founded in 1922 by Andrew T. Oleksak Sr., our company has a rich history of providing high-quality lumber products to our customers. From our humble beginnings with a portable sawmill and a horse-drawn logging sled, we have grown to become one of the leading lumber suppliers in the region.
Our commitment to service and value has been the cornerstone of our business for generations. We take pride in our ability to provide our customers with a wide range of products, from rough-sawn lumber to finished hardwoods, and from pallets to mulch. Our team of experienced loggers, sawmill operators, and forestry experts work together to ensure that every product that leaves our mill meets our high standards of quality.
Our Operations
At Oleksak Lumber Company, we operate a fully automated sawmill, dry kiln, and milling facility, as well as a pallet lumber cut-up operation and a bark mulch business. We procure and saw approximately 2 million feet of sawlogs annually, sourced from our own family-owned timberlands, private landowners, municipalities, state forests, and watersheds throughout Hampden and Berkshire Counties.
Our forestry staff, led by Daniel Oleksak, co-owner and Forestry staff head, ensures that our logging activities meet the highest standards and requirements of local, state, and federal agencies. With a team of experienced loggers and sawmill operators, we are able to provide our customers with a wide range of products, including wide plank flooring, V-groove, shiplap, channel rustic, and dimensional Pine, as well as a wide selection of kiln-dried Northeastern hardwoods.
