Our Team

Our leadership team comprises experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the construction industry. Meet our team:

• John Socks, CEO & Principal Owner, brings over 35 years of construction experience to the table, having led Socks Construction since 2001.
• David Socks, CBO & Principal Owner, has over 25 years of construction experience and a B.S. in Marketing from Michigan State University.
• Charlie Socks, CSPO & Principal Owner, has over 25 years of construction experience and has worked closely with local municipalities to ensure project success.
• Nate Kessler, CFO, has an MBA in Finance and has been with Socks Construction since 2021, overseeing the financial health of the company.
• Jim Rosa, VP of Operations, has over 40 years of commercial construction experience and has managed projects in various sectors, including Higher Education, Hospitality, Government, and Military.

• The Loop: A massive 116,000-square-foot development with 200 rental units, 10 retails, and 1 restaurant in Traverse City, Michigan.
• Old Town Corner: A 22,000-square-foot development with 6 residential units and 8 retail spaces in Traverse City, Michigan.
