Our History

The Mel Lanzer Company has a rich history that dates back to the post-war housing boom of the early 1950s. Founded by Mel Lanzer, the company initially focused on residential construction, building over 50 homes a year. However, when the demand for housing declined in 1955, Mel Lanzer shifted his attention to commercial projects, laying the foundation for what would become one of Northwest Ohio's most respected commercial contracting firms.
