Our Design-Build process is built around an integrated approach, where design and construction services are managed by a single point of responsibility. This allows us to tailor our services specifically to the Rocky Mountain residential marketplace, specializing in the design of award-winning "Vernacular Mountain" Residential Projects. We have developed a unique process that provides exceptional cost information during the design phase and ensures that the many mountain home features we design are executed as intended. This personalized approach, combined with our expertise in design, construction, and management, makes us stand out in the industry.

Design Philosophy

At the heart of our philosophy is the understanding that each project and client is unique. We believe that combining design and construction offers a strategic advantage in creating one-of-a-kind houses. We start each new project with a clean slate and an open mind, always facing and successfully executing many ideas for the first time. This approach allows us to tailor every design to meet the specific needs and aspirations of our clients.

Design Process

In the design phase, we engage in an open dialogue with our clients to explore and discuss the architectural direction their home should take. We work with extensive magazine files and any pictures or ideas they may have to understand their desired "look." This process includes 1/4" = 1'-0" scale drawings of concept floor plans, followed by conceptual drawings of exteriors and other drawings to communicate a suggested design direction. We refine these ideas until the client is satisfied that their objectives are met, ensuring that the final design far surpasses their expectations.
