Our Story

C.M. Mitchell Construction is a company built on the foundation of a single vision and unwavering perseverance. It all began in 1994 with its founder, Charles M. Mitchell, operating alongside his trusted one-truck fleet. Driven by a commitment to quality and driven by a dedication to community service, the company has blossomed into the multi-faceted and successful enterprise it is today. With a knowledgeable staff and a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, we are equipped to tackle projects of any scale. Charles, a native of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, remains deeply invested in his hometown and its residents. This deep-rooted connection to the community is reflected in his active involvement in a range of community initiatives and youth sports programs.

Our Team

Our success is a result of the dedication and expertise of our entire team. Leading the charge is Charles, owner and operator of C.M. Mitchell Construction, his commitment to excellence is a driving force behind the company. Theresa Mitchell, Chief Financial Officer, oversees the financial stability and growth of the enterprise. Gregg Deeb, Vice President of Operations (Construction), brings extensive experience and leadership to our construction endeavors. Donna Deeb, Operations Manager, plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations. Laura Hufnagle, our skilled Bookkeeper, diligently manages our financial records. Kathy McLean, our Executive Assistant - Human Resources, ensures the strength and well-being of our workforce.

Our team also includes Nic Alant, Project Manager, who expertly guides projects from conception to completion; Molly Meade, Operations Administrative Assistant, whose organizational skills are instrumental to our daily operations; and Matthew Mitchell, Asphalt Division Supervisor, who oversees the quality and efficiency of all our asphalt paving projects. Deb Thompson, Administrative Assistant, provides invaluable support in various administrative tasks.
