Our Roots

Our company's story begins with our founder, Red Brummel, who sold his house in 1955 to buy a hardware store in the Godwin Heights neighborhood of Grand Rapids. Red's wife, Louise, ran the store while he made plumbing service calls. As his reputation for workmanship and expertise grew, so did the store, becoming the largest plumbing parts supplier in the area.
