At Shrum's Pest Control, we are a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to the 1940s. Our story began when my grandfather, Gene Shrum, returned from World War II and started working for a large regional pest management company. He quickly made a name for himself as a resident fumigation expert, and eventually worked his way up to Vice President.

After the company was sold and my grandfather was laid off, he spent several years providing pest management consulting services to local companies. Meanwhile, my father, Terry Shrum, was working as a counselor for the Juvenile Court in Portland, Oregon. In 1984, my grandfather and father decided to use my grandfather's reputation and commercial business network to start Shrum's Pest Control.

As a child, I would often tag along with my grandfather and father as they built the business and worked in the field. What stood out to me then and remains a focus of our business today is the exceptional customer service we provide. We never compromise quality for time and do not sell our clients unnecessary monthly service contracts. We strive for honesty and transparency with our customers to ensure that pest problems get resolved quickly and affordably.

• Kelly Shrum, Owner & President: Kelly is a licensed pesticide applicator and operator in the states of Oregon and Washington. He oversees all aspects of the business and is committed to leading the company in a way that is in keeping with his grandfather's and father's focus on the customer.
• Holli Shrum, Chief Operations Officer: Holli is the "Voice of the Company" and sets the tone for the experiences our customers have interacting with our company. She is responsible for all scheduling and oversees all operations including back office administration and billing.
