Error in Installation Process
The worst experience I've had with a company, Brazos & Austin Floor Pros, according to Dana Winter, who gave them a 1-star rating. They made a mistake during the install, which they attempted to cover up by claiming the issue was due to the walls, but it wasn't. The flooring was installed at an angle, and it took several other professionals to agree that the work was unacceptable. The company eventually relented and redid the portion of the house that was installed incorrectly. Communication was also an issue, with the representative, Brazos, failing to follow through on promised dates and times.
Exceptional Service
On the other hand, Brazos & Austin Floor Pros received glowing reviews from Sean Roberts, Ken Rush, and Qian Mouring, all who gave them 5-star ratings. Sean's experience began with water damage, which led to the replacement of his entire first floor. Brazos and his team handled the project with expertise, coordinating with Sean's insurance company and exceeding his expectations. Ken chose Austin Floor Pros after his house suffered major water damage, and Brazos Skipper (Owner) was reassuring and patient. The installers were courteous, fast, and efficient. Qian worked with Brazos and his team on retiling her entire house, and they did an excellent job. The team was professional, pleasant, and reasonably priced.
Timeline and Communication
Ken and Qian also mentioned a few issues with the project. Ken had initially underestimated the timeline, and Qian had to adjust her expectations due to the complexity of the project. Regarding communication, Qian mentioned that they initially had different expectations regarding the timeline and work allocation, which caused some frustration. However, these issues were minor and did not deter the customers from praising the company's work.
