A C S Architects is a renowned residential architecture firm based in Palo Alto, California. With a rich history dating back to 1976, the firm has established a reputation for delivering unique and innovative designs tailored to the needs of each client. Our team is currently led by Architect Kyu Young Kim, who brings a wealth of experience from his extensive travels and work in various parts of the world.

Kyu Young Kim, or "Q" as he is commonly known, leads our team of talented architects and designers. Q's journey in architecture began under the tutelage of Craig Steinman and Karl Sherwood-Coombs. He later gained international experience working in Seoul, South Korea, Paris, France, Manhattan, New York, and San Francisco. Q's diverse experience enables him to bring a unique perspective to every project, ensuring that each design is a unique reflection of the client's vision.

Hanna Joo, our designer and administrative manager, adds a distinct European influence to our designs, combined with a deep understanding of Californian culture. Hanna leads our interior design team and is known for her meticulous attention to detail. Prior to joining A C S Architects, Hanna and Q co-founded J&K Atelier, further solidifying their partnership and shared vision for innovative design.
