Meet the Team

Michael Barshinger, co-owner of embee & son, inc., has over 45 years of experience in both the construction and remodeling industry. His extensive knowledge of the business and commitment to providing the best products and service to our clients has helped make embee & son, inc. a success. Mike's main goal is to offer the perfect collaboration between our staff and our clients, resulting in dreams being fulfilled. Mike also owns Michael Barshinger Builder/Developer, Inc., a one-stop shop for building, beginning to end. His company provides construction, heating, cooling, and plumbing services.

Jason Barshinger, co-owner of embee & son, inc., has 20+ years of experience in the remodeling industry. His favorite part of his job is working with people, taking the time to personally listen to their needs, help interpret those needs into a design, and then seeing it through to completion. Jason adds the personal touch that most other businesses of this kind overlook, and he loves spending time with his family when he's not working.

Vicki-Marie Collazo, a valued member of the embee & son, inc. team, brings an education from Bradley Academy of the Visual Arts, over 40+ years of experience, and extensive knowledge in Kitchen Design and Color Consultation to our team. Vicki has an "eye" for design and is able to listen to and understand the style you are envisioning, bringing it to life in front of you. She has participated in several events such as The York County Decorator Showhouse, York County Parade of Homes, York Builders Association Home and Garden Show, and has produced several seminars through local school districts on kitchen design, color theory, faux finishing, and home decorating.

Beverly Ann Gentzler, a Kitchen & Bath Design Specialist, joined the embee & son, inc. team in July of 2017. She brought 23+ years of experience with her and specializes in Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling. Beverly loves working with her clients, forming relationships with them, and taking their ideas and creating a space that makes those dreams come alive. She has participated in several events during her time in the industry, including the York County Builder's Association Remodeler's Council Awards of Excellence and York County Parade of Homes.

Patrick Allen Helf, our in-house flooring specialist, has 46+ years of experience. Patrick is in charge of floor covering estimation/sales and bathroom & kitchen design. He is a West York High School Graduate of 1973 and has been a valuable member of the embee & son, inc. team since March of 2010.
