Our History

Good's Tree Care was founded in 1995 by Bob Good, an ISA Certified Arborist with a passion for trees and the outdoors. Bob, who graduated from Penn State, worked for a national tree company in Tidewater Virginia before deciding to start his own business in central Pennsylvania. Since then, Good's Tree and Lawn Care has grown to serve multiple counties including Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, York, Adams, Cumberland, and Perry. We have expanded our services to include lawn care and plant health care, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive care for their entire landscape.

Our Team

Our team of professionals is comprised of certified arborists and horticultural experts who are dedicated to providing superior customer service. Each member of our team undergoes ongoing education and certification maintenance to ensure that we stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in tree and lawn care. Our team is led by Bob Good, who continues to be passionate about trees and the outdoors, and Sam Hanmer, an ISA Certified Arborist with a degree in Horticulture from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Hannah Kidwell, who joined our team in 2021, oversees our Human Resources department, bringing her professionalism and ability to recognize strengths in individuals to the forefront. Tony Kyler, also an ISA Certified Arborist, has been providing consultation to customers for over 20 years and is a graduate of Penn State University in Forest Technology.
