Powering Progress. Preserving Trust.
Paramount Electric Co. operates as a licensed electrical contractor serving commercial organizations, residential property owners, and industrial customers in Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our headquarters are in Clackamas, Oregon, where our company was established in 2011 following a management background in electrical contracting beginning in 2001. We are bonded and insured, with contractor licensing in both states. We provide comprehensive commercial electrical installations for new developments, remodeling projects, tenant improvements, lighting system upgrades, and control modernization. Additional capabilities include electrical design coordination, utility infrastructure, underground electrical work, equipment servicing, and property maintenance. Our project process incorporates timely estimates, clearly stated bid assumptions, cooperation with other contractors, and detailed inspection documentation.

Hospitality, healthcare, assisted living, multifamily construction, restaurants, grocery stores, retail, education, banking, dealerships, warehouses, and public works are among the sectors we serve. For homeowners, we handle service panel improvements, meter exchanges, house rewiring, renovation-related electrical installations, EV chargers, backup generator systems, lighting, smoke and carbon monoxide alarm wiring, and troubleshooting. We also perform structured cabling, access control, video security, and audiovisual installations through our own personnel. Our operations extend to Portland, Clackamas, Tigard, Tualatin, Gresham, Milwaukie, Vancouver, Ridgefield, Battle Ground, and surrounding locations. We provide upfront pricing and emergency service 24 hours a day. Our community program, Paramount Gives, offers electrical assistance to those experiencing hardship.

Services
Commercial Electrical
We approach commercial electrical construction with an emphasis on communication, installation coordination, and regulatory inspections. Our project managers oversee electrical circuits and maintain accurate records throughout each project. We undertake work in high-rise properties, medical offices, residential care facilities, and commercial buildings. Design-build delivery, electrical service improvements, and lighting installations form part of our capabilities.
Residential Electrical Services
We provide electrical solutions for homeowners maintaining existing properties or changing their living spaces. Our services encompass outlet repairs, full-home rewiring, circuit planning, and electrical installations for remodeling projects. We also correct grounding deficiencies and address outdated equipment. Licensed electricians perform our work, with safety protection and required inspections incorporated into the process.
Generator Installation & Service
Our residential standby generator solutions provide automatic backup power when the electrical grid becomes unavailable. We calculate electrical demand, determine suitable equipment placement, and install automatic transfer switches. Selected circuits can remain powered until utility service returns. As an authorized Generac service company, we also handle routine maintenance, generator testing, repairs, and warranty service.
EV Charger Installation
We provide electric vehicle charging installations designed around available electrical capacity and specific property requirements. Homeowners can select compatible Level 2 chargers from leading manufacturers or use plug-in equipment through a 14-50 outlet. Our electrical assessments identify potential capacity limitations. When necessary, we install load-management devices or upgrade panels to accommodate the proposed charging circuits.
