Really impressed by their work and overall customer service. From my first contact with the office to scheduling and arrival notices, I noticed a high degree of professionalism. Estimates and bills were very clear, and the text reminders included names and photos of service professionals visiting my house.
Travis and Noah were great problem solvers (there's always a few surprises with an older house,) and were dedicated to making sure everything worked the way I needed it to. And they cleaned up after their work. I would definitely work with this company again!

We had a new sub panel put into the garage for our growing electrical needs. The crew arrived o
time as scheduled, very courteous, very informative of all work being done and very clean. Not only did they install the sub panel, but they ran all the wire to that (approx 85 feet through basement and attic), installed an inline exhaust fan and new outlets for items, but they came in UNDER budget! Thank you Blackhawk Electric! Will hire again in the future!

We have a Kohler Generator, which I believe, is not a unit that Blackhawk or Steven (the technician) regularly service. They were here quickly and diagnosed our problem. It took about a week to get the part as Kohler is very selfish with their parts. It was installed very fast. We were operational except for a programming detail that fed the WiFi. Steven came out and tried quite a few ways, in the same trip, to conquer the problem, before he had success (it was impressive!). We and Blackhawk are lucky to have Steven as a technician. We are very happy with the outcome!

They installed a Generlink generator transfer switch, which is a meter-based all-in-one unit. Brian, the owner, and James, the installer, we're very professional and helpful. They were on time and had the permit, coordinated Mid-American to be here to disconnect the power and reinstall the meter tamper ring. James took the time to explain to me and look at my generator to show me how it would work with the Generlink. I would recommend Blackhawk Electric.

The Blackhawk team was incredible to work with! We had a number of light fixtures and fan installation, smoke/co detector replacement, 3-way and dimmer switch installation and ring doorbell. The entire process from estimate to scheduling to installation was seamless, quick at a very reasonable cost.

Two Very nice technicians came out today. . I told Trevor all the issues we were having and he listened to everything I had to say. Very patient and understanding. Once everything was explained they got right to it. They inspected the panel and multiple outlets. located several issues quickly. Identified and replaced a burnt outlet behind our dishwasher, replaced several other bad outlets in our kitchen and fixed a few loose connections. Also replaced a bad gfci outlet in our bathroom and fixed an outlet box in our living room that was hanging out of the wall. Excellent work all around. Very professional. Highly recommend.

Steven was great. He worked on our generator. Responded quickly & in the rain. Took his work seriously & looked for additional issues while present - replaced a recalled board. Johan and Travis installed electrical and 3 ceiling fans in our home. The quote was fair and they arrived on time and both were very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a big job (crawling in the attic insulation) and despite this they took the time to repair an issue they found in the attic unrelated to the fan installation. I highly recommend Blackhawk and frankly I wouldnt call anyone else based on my positive

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The electrician spent a long time here changing the outdoor lamp light since it is hardwired as a 12-24V instead of 120V. The current light bulb bought did not work. So the electrician will be coming back to change out the socket to the one that was used in the old light.
