Meet the Team

Our team, led by Founder and Creative Principal Brett Foken, is dedicated to creating exceptional design experiences. Brett started following her design calling in 2014 after leaving a career in marketing, and officially launched Decorotation Interiors in 2016. With a lifelong passion for interior design and architecture, Brett draws inspiration from the surrounding beauty of Northern California and her travels. She believes that no two projects are alike and approaches each one with creativity and a deep sense of empathy.

Joining Brett is Co-Owner and Architectural Designer Kathryn Lazarus, who brings over 14 years of architecture experience and a wealth of industry knowledge. Kathryn has worked on a variety of project types and is thrilled to be a part of the Decorotation team, focusing on residential interior design and architecture as well as project and construction management.
