Installation and Customer Service
Hooked on Solar has received mixed reviews from customers. On the positive side, some customers have praised the company's prompt communication, pricing, and help with coordinating design. Claudette Green and Justin Orban were specifically mentioned as providing excellent customer service and making the process seamless.
Issues with Installation and Maintenance
However, some customers have experienced issues with the installation and maintenance of their solar systems. Ayako Nagano reported that the system was not green-lighted by PGE after installation and that the company sent an additional invoice for $2700 to fix the issue. Sean Wilson had a horrible experience with the installation, citing damaged roofs and unprofessional installers.

The quality of workmanship has also been a concern for some customers. Ayako Nagano complained that the system was not properly inspected before installation, leading to additional costs. Sean Wilson reported that the installers damaged his roof and refused to return to fix the issue.
Pricing and Value
Some customers have reported high pricing for the solar systems and additional fees for maintenance and repairs. Ayako Nagano paid over $30,000 for the solar panels and battery system, but has not had normal use of the system since June 2022.
