Our History

Priest-Zimmerman, Inc. was founded in 1988 as a partnership between Don Zimmerman and Jack Priest. Initially, they represented one manufacturer, Elkay Manufacturing. They operated out of a small office in Denver, Colorado. Over the years, the company continued to grow in size and scope, taking on more manufacturers and expanding facilities. In 1999, Don's son Shad Zimmerman joined the company, and in 2001 his other son Scott Zimmerman joined the company. In 2005, Jack Priest retired from the industry, and the company became solely owned by Don Zimmerman. Over the next 15 years, PZI dominated the marketplace, winning numerous awards, including the prestigious Representatives of the year for Elkay Manufacturing in 2013 and 2014. In 2020, Shad Zimmerman and Scott Zimmerman became the Co-Owners of PZI. Under their leadership, PZI has continued to win numerous awards, drive increased growth, and team excellence.
