Caolo & Bieniek Architects is a full-service architectural design firm that has been serving clients throughout New England for over 60 years. Educational

At Caolo & Bieniek Architects, we have extensive experience designing facilities at every level of the educational spectrum, from pre-K through university. We are uniquely positioned to deliver the planning and implementation of schools of all sizes, and we work closely with communities to help provide equitable education in innovative and safe environments. Our educational portfolio includes new construction, additions, and renovations for public and private schools, colleges, and universities.

Historical

Rehabilitating and modernizing classic buildings to meet the needs of 21st-century usage is a challenging assignment that we take on with enthusiasm. Our work is indicative of our ability to integrate historical integrity and new technologies with innovative and timely solutions. We understand the importance of preserving our historical buildings and work to ensure that each project meets the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.

Public Safety

Our long experience with municipal facilities, including fire stations, police stations, and public safety complexes, in urban, suburban, and rural communities, has provided our team with the ability to identify issues and deliver creative, practical design for law enforcement officials and first-responders. We understand the unique needs of public safety facilities and work closely with our clients to ensure that each project meets their specific requirements.

Feasibility Studies

CBA Architects conducts cost-effective studies and assessments for future construction, expansions, and/or renovations based on comprehensive architectural and structural analysis of the buildings in question. Our feasibility studies provide our clients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their facilities, including cost estimates, scheduling, and constructability.

Libraries

As the services provided by public libraries continue to shift and expand, our team has evolved to meet the changing needs of our clients. We have extensive experience renovating historic buildings and designing new libraries that implement current technologies and help create innovative and welcoming facilities for modern, multi-functional, and thriving community centers. Our library portfolio includes new construction, additions, and renovations for public and academic libraries.

Our history is rooted in providing architectural services since 1955. In 2017, Reinhardt Associates, Inc. joined forces with Caolo & Bieniek Associates, bringing talented staff members and their organization's 35 years of architectural and engineering experience in Massachusetts into our expanded portfolio.

At Caolo & Bieniek, we are committed to supporting our communities through volunteer work and financial support. We are proud to provide support to the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Springfield and Chicopee through the service of employees on the Boards of Directors and Governance Committee. Our employees also serve on the Boards of the West Springfield Building and Planning Committee and Northampton Dollars for Scholars. We regularly support and sponsor vital local organizations, including the Rotary Clubs of Easthampton and West Springfield, the Springfield South End Community Center, the Easthampton Learning Foundation, Easthampton City Arts, and other community-based organizations.
