Our Story

At Equix, we are a privately held construction firm dedicated to building infrastructure and strengthening connections across North America. With a focus on utility and infrastructure projects, we offer a range of services including full-service surveying, design, construction, and maintenance services to the broadband, electric, oil, and gas, heavy civil, pipeline, renewable energy, and water and wastewater markets.

Our Capabilities

We offer a wide range of services, including:

Electrical Utility Construction: We install underground electric infrastructure in urban, suburban, and rural areas, constructing direct burial, conduit, duct bank, and manhole systems.

Engineering, Design, & Field Services: Our professional services teams cover a wide array of development, design, and surveying services for both public and private projects.

General Contracting: Our general contracting division handles a wide range of construction projects across multiple industries, from everyday construction to complex, multi-phased projects.

Heavy Civil Construction: As a contractor, we self-perform much of our work, including highway, airport, and site development projects.

Water & Wastewater: Our teams perform CCTV clean and inspection, lateral launch and cross bore detection, grouting, and cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation and other services to the water and wastewater markets.

Oil & Gas: We install mainline transmission pipeline, gas distribution pipeline, facility construction, HDD, and a variety of maintenance and integrity projects.

Transportation: We perform a variety of transportation projects, including paving of highways and streets, port & marine construction, and rail installation.
