Blue Star Pest Control was established in 1984 by Mr. John Brown, who had a vision of providing top-notch pest control services to the community. The company started small, but it soon gained a reputation for its commitment to customer satisfaction and its use of effective pest control methods. However, in 1996, Mr. Brown made the decision to sell the company's accounts to a major pest control company, believing it was the right thing to do for his customers.

This decision was met with disappointment from many loyal customers, who missed the personal touch and attention to detail that Blue Star Pest Control had always provided. In 2001, in response to popular demand, Mr. Brown re-opened Blue Star Pest Control, determined to rebuild the company from scratch. Despite starting from scratch, the company was able to re-establish its customer base and even expand its services to new areas.

In 2003, Mr. Brown encountered Mr. Armando V. Ruiz, Sr., president of RNR Enterprise, Inc. He saw in RNR Enterprise, Inc. the energy, stamina, and successful track record in customer service that he knew Blue Star Pest Control needed to be rebuilt. In November of the same year, Blue Star Pest Control was sold to RNR Enterprise, Inc., with the commitment to bring the company back to its previous success and beyond.

Today, Blue Star Pest Control serves customers in nineteen (19) parishes in the State of Louisiana and is still growing.
