Retail Stores
Our retail stores are open for business, with locations in San Rafael and other areas. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are limiting the number of customers in the store at a time to ensure the safety and health of our customers and employees. Customer Service Issues
Several customers have expressed frustration with the customer service at Herbs Pool Service. Brian Kaplan's experience was particularly negative, as he was told that a small, unopened bag of chemicals he purchased couldn't be returned after he realized he already had the same product at home. This was despite the salesman initially agreeing to take the item back. Similarly, Vince Lattanzio and Sandy Raffi-Rashed have had poor experiences with the company, with Lattanzio's system not working as promised and Raffi-Rashed not receiving adequate support after purchasing a new solar heating system.
Price and Quality Concerns
Some customers have raised concerns about the quality of products sold at Herbs Pool Service. Delta Function had an issue with a bucket of chlorine not being properly sealed, causing it to spill and make their car smell like a pool store. Julieann Barry purchased a vacuum that broke within a minute of use, and Linda Varonin is unhappy with the care her pool is receiving. Layah Vigneaud had her pump damaged due to a technician's mistake during a maintenance check.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, several customers have had positive experiences with Herbs Pool Service. Todd Trippany received excellent help from Barron, who quickly identified and fixed an issue with his Aqualink system. Ian Gaffney has been a customer for years and praises the company's fair and competitive prices, as well as the knowledgeable staff. Laura Peters benefited from the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff when trying to balance her hot tub water. Daniel Mallow likes the friendly people on the showroom floor, and Marisa Hoke Fazi has also had great experiences with the company's service and prices.
