At Aanensen's, we take pride in being a third-generation family-owned business, serving New Jersey homeowners and their families since 1951. Our company was founded by Al Aanensen, with the unwavering support of his wife Glady, who worked tirelessly to manage the business while also holding a second job as a nurse. Al's dedication to learning the trade and Glady's resourcefulness enabled them to purchase the necessary tools for the company's growth.

As the company grew, so did our commitment to excellence. In the second generation, our current President, Ted Aanensen, carried on the family legacy with a keen eye for design, project management, and exceptional communication skills. His formal business training from Upsala College was instrumental in navigating the company's expansion. Ted's dedicated wife, Gayle, oversaw the important day-to-day business operations, managing payroll, office staff, advertising outreach, and ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the business.

As a full-service provider of custom kitchens, fine cabinetry, and residential design and build work, we have honed our skills across multiple generations. Our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and unwaverering dedication to customer satisfaction have earned us a loyal client base.
