Originally founded by Larry Styron, the business was purchased by David Styron in 1996. David Styron has been an ISA Certified Arborist for more than 20 years and is currently the only active Certified Arborist in Carteret County. The Certified Arborist designation is achieved through extensive study of the art and science of tree care and passing a comprehensive examination. Additionally, continuing education requirements must be met to maintain the designation. Our Certified Arborist helps determine the health of a tree, whether a tree should be removed, assesses risks for trees after a storm, during construction near the tree, or for litigation purposes.
