At J&S Landscape and Design, we are a team of dedicated landscape professionals with a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Our journey began in 1988, when our founders, Jeff and Sharon, decided to take matters into their own hands and create a company that would allow them to provide for their family while doing what they love. Starting out small, we've grown into a reputable Landscaping+Service with a variety of satisfied clients across Carteret, Craven, and Onslow County.

Our Family Affair

J&S Landscape and Design is a family-owned and operated business. It all started with a push mower, a weed eater, and a blower. Jeff and Sharon, our founders, were determined to be their own bosses and create a company that would allow them to connect with and provide for their family. Their two older children, Jennifer and Jeff Jr., were at the right age to learn and contribute to the business. As they grew, so did our company, and we've been fortunate enough to keep it in the family.

• Lawn Care & Maintenance: We'll take care of the hard work for you! Our services include mowing, edging, string trimming, lawn fertilization and weed control, pruning and trim services, lawn/shrub/tree pest management, flower/shrub bed management, seasonal flower plantings, irrigation start-up/shut down, mulch/pine straw applications, and bush hogging.

• Landscape Services: Our team is dedicated to providing outstanding quality landscape design and installation. We offer hardscape design and installation, sod installation, retainer walls, large tree plantings, irrigation installation, drainage services, grading, land clearing, gravel/rock driveways, and aquascape/pond installations.

• Outdoor Living Spaces: We can help you create a customizable outdoor oasis. Our services include outdoor fireplace installation, custom-built fire pits, outdoor living rooms, outdoor kitchens/grill spaces, and pergolas.

Our Team

We're proud to have a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about what they do. Our team is led by Jeff Shultz Sr., the 'J' in J&S, who, although retired, still plays an active role in the company. He consults on projects, aids in quality checks, and continues to help with the growth and internal operations of our company. Sharon oversees the internal operations of the company and also focuses on our sister company, J&S Nursery and Blossom's Gift Shoppe.
