South Georgia Homes was founded by President Keith Blaschke, a man who grew up surrounded by the world of construction. Watching his father, an electrician, bring new homes to life sparked a passion in Keith that would eventually lead him to build his own company. Before becoming a builder, Keith honed his understanding of the homebuying process from the other side of the table. He worked as a home lender for an Atlanta-based financial service company, gaining valuable insight into the needs and aspirations of homeowners. While this experience was rewarding, Keith yearned for a more hands-on role in helping families achieve the dream of homeownership.

He began his building journey by collaborating with a certified builder and joining forces with local construction teams. This experience allowed him to develop his skills and knowledge within the dynamic landscape of Columbia County's booming real estate market. In 2006, Keith took the leap and launched South Georgia Homes, driven by a commitment to building high-quality homes and fostering long-lasting relationships with his clients.
