Our Story

Hello, my name is Ben Rushing, and I'm the proud owner of Southlake Pools. It all began back in late 2007, fueled by a desire to spend more quality time with my family. At the time, my wife, Amanda, and I were juggling the joys and challenges of parenthood with a 3-year-old and a newborn.

My vision was simple: a pool cleaning business that would allow me more flexibility and freedom to be present for our growing family. As I ventured into the world of small business ownership and immersed myself in the intricacies of the pool industry, Amanda was facing her own unique challenges at home, mastering the art of caring for two little ones. We both found ourselves stretched thin, navigating the demands of our respective fields. Adding to our adventure, a baby boy joined our family the following year. It was a whirlwind of activity and learning, both at home and in the budding world of Southlake Pools.
