Our Team

Meet our president, Richard Desmond, a licensed general contractor since 1989. Rich Desmond brings a lifetime of engineering and building experience to every project. As the cofounder and president of Desmond & Wallace, Inc., Rich is committed to building excellence and delivering exceptional client relationships. Our team of skilled craftsmen has a broad range of technical abilities, from site work to finish carpentry. We also partner with select, reliable subcontractors who meet our high standards of excellence and reliability.

Our Approach

At Desmond & Wallace, Inc., we believe that building excellence must be balanced with environmental sensitivity. We are committed to building not only for today but also for tomorrow. We use green building materials and methods whenever possible, including select harvest or plantation-grown lumber, man-made materials as substitutes for paint-grade lumber, environmentally friendly adhesives, paints, and other building products. We also implement a proactive recycling program to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
