Since our establishment in 1952, we have specialized in heating and air conditioning products and services, offering comprehensive solutions to the entire Cuyahoga County and Eastern Lorain County area of Ohio.

Our journey began when Mr. Herc Levy, a Shaker Heights native, inventor, and owner of Viking Blower Company, approached Jack Harris with an offer to work for him. Mr. Harris, with experience from General Electric and the Cleveland Illuminating Company, decided to start his own company instead. Mr. Levy saw the potential in Mr. Harris and provided him with the opportunity to form Viking Air Conditioning Company, an offshoot of Viking Blower. The name later changed to Air Rite Service when Mr. Harris partnered with Mr. Howard Rahm.

In 1976, we moved to our current location at 1290 W. 117th St. in Lakewood, Ohio, previously home to a Studebaker, Oldsmobile, and Ford dealerships. Over the years, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our customers, focusing on spring air conditioning checks, fall heating system tune-ups and checks, regular and emergency service, and new equipment installation. We also install zoning systems, humidifiers, and whole home air cleaners, ensuring that our customers' homes are comfortable and healthy environments.

Our service trucks are heavily stocked with replacement parts to fix a wide variety of equipment. Whether it's a boiler, furnace, or central air conditioning system, we have the most common parts on hand to fix your system quickly and efficiently.
