Our Story

Our story began when Charlene Manusos started her construction background in 1965 as a secretary to the Mechanical Divisions of Wm. Zeigler & Son, Inc. With her complete understanding of the construction industry, she was promoted to Executive Vice President. In 1992, Charlene and her husband Don formed Manusos General Contracting, Inc. as a family-owned business. From its humble beginnings in the basement of their home, the company grew and expanded to its current location in Fox Lake, Illinois.

Our Team

At Manusos General Contracting, Inc., we take pride in our team of experienced professionals, including our President and CEO, Charlene Manusos, who has over 50 years of experience in the construction industry. Our Executive Vice President, Jamie L. McKeown, is responsible for handling the financial aspect of the company, while our Vice Presidents, Joseph M. McKeown, Kevin Aronson, and Dave Wegner, oversee the general trades, concrete, and carpentry divisions. Our Superintendents, Pat Londberg and Dave Wegner, ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.
