Meet The Master Builder - John King

John brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry to SLOBUILT. His Journey began with his service in the Army as a mechanic, where he honed his skills in problem-solving, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. This foundation served him well as he transitioned into the world of construction, quickly rising from general labor to managing a large division in Colorado.

John established his own successful contracting company, King West, where his expertise in diverse projects, ranging from retail spaces and medical offices to high-rise office buildings and parking structures, truly shone. The company's reputation for excellence led them to expand their reach to California, taking on prestigious projects in San Diego, Morgan Hill, and San Francisco, including the renovation of hotels into luxurious vacation rentals.

With his family by his side, John brought his passion for building and community service to SLO County, establishing SLOBUILT in the early 2000s. He has built his personal home and many other impressive structures in the area, consistently demonstrating unwavering commitment to both quality and client satisfaction.
