Our Story

At Joplin Concrete, we're proud to have been a part of the Joplin community for over a century. Our story began in 1915 when our founding father, Frank M. Myers, established Joplin Cement Company. Under his leadership, the company grew rapidly, and in 1921, his son, Larry B. Myers, joined the company and helped run it alongside his father. In 1956, Frank Myers stepped down from his role, and Larry took over as president. The company continued to thrive, and in the 1960s, Joplin Cement became one of the largest distributors of ready-mix concrete in the region.
