Established in 1958 by Sara Jean and Bob Calonkey, the business has remained dedicated to its mission of making Oklahoma beautiful, one room at a time. The store started with a single storefront on Norman's historic Main Street, offering high-end designer-oriented furniture. Over the years, Mister Robert has expanded its offerings to include a wide range of products from around the globe.
Today, the business is still family-owned and operated by Keven Calonkey Carl and her husband, John. Keven is a nationally certified interior designer and has won numerous awards for her outstanding design projects. Under their leadership, Mister Robert continues to provide exceptional customer service and offers a vast collection of home furnishings, including upholstery, casegoods, and home accents.
