As a leading electrical contractor, we offer a diverse range of services to cater to the unique needs of our customers. Our utility services include transmission and distribution line construction, substations, and specialized services. For our commercial clients, we provide plan and spec, generators, design/build, lighting, renewable energy, and service work. Our industrial services include refineries, manufacturing, instrumentation, and maintenance, while our telecom services cover structured cabling, fiber, security, cell towers, and service work.

We're also a signatory to a number of IBEW electrical and telecommunications Contracts throughout the Midwest and carry contractor licenses in several states and municipalities.
Problems with Quality of Service
JF Electric has been involved in several instances where their services have fallen short of expectations. They were hired to repair lines after storms, but their heavy equipment damaged a customer's driveway, causing a 15-foot long crack. The company refused to take responsibility, saying it couldn't be proved that they broke it. Similarly, they were working on digging up yards in a subdivision, leaving holes and mud, and ignored requests to clean up after themselves.
Communication Issues
There have been instances where JF Electric failed to communicate effectively with their customers. One customer waited for over an hour for a bidder to show up, only to have him not show up at all. Another customer was promised a bid, but the bidder never arrived and didn't communicate about any changes or delays.
Lack of Responsiveness
Several customers have mentioned that JF Electric was unresponsive to their concerns. One customer waited over a year to get their meter fixed, but despite repeated calls, nobody at the company seemed to care. Another customer tried to contact the company multiple times to address issues with their driveway, but received no response.
Safety Concerns
There have been safety concerns raised about JF Electric's work. One customer's yard was left with four holes dug up, with no plan to fill them until weeks later. Another customer had a screwdriver fly out of a truck while driving on the highway, hitting their truck and causing a risk of flat tires or broken windshields.
Poor Parking and Cleanup
Customers have complained about JF Electric's parking and cleanup practices. One customer had their driveway blocked by the company's trucks, making it difficult to leave their home. Another customer had to deal with mud and holes left in their yard after the company finished their work.
