Our History
Long Point Roofing was founded by our patriarch, Larry D. Kolb, II. Growing up with a father in the business, Larry knew he would follow in his footsteps and pursue a career in the roofing industry. After working various roles, including estimator and certified roof consultant, Larry returned to Houston to join the family business. Under his leadership, Long Point Roofing continued to thrive, expanding its commercial division and completing large-scale projects across the Gulf Coast and East Coast states.
Meet the Team
Larry D. Kolb, II, Owner
Larry is a certified and licensed roofing contractor in Louisiana, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He is also a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association, Roofing Contractors Association of Texas, and certified applicator for all roofing products he installs.
Jill Kolb, CFO and Marketing Director
Jill grew up on a Brahman cattle ranch in Hungerford, TX. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2001. With a background in agricultural economics and teaching, Jill joined the family business in 2006. She is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Long Point Roofing.
