At Smith and Davis Architects, we are a small architecture firm with a passion for creating designs that are simple, timeless, and economical. Our focus is mainly on residential projects, including new constructions and additions, as well as some commercial ventures. We are located in Barnegat Light on Long Beach Island, NJ, where we draw inspiration from the coastal environment. Our team, consisting of Matthew Davis and Emily Smith, both graduates of Roger Williams University, brings together over 20 years of experience and a deep understanding of the local community. We believe in a collaborative approach, engaging with clients from the start to ensure that the final product meets their vision and goals.

Our design process begins with an initial consultation at the project site, where we discuss your ideas and objectives. We then develop a project proposal outlining the phases of design services and the associated costs. Once the proposal is agreed upon, we proceed with the design process, which includes preliminary design drawings, design development, and finally, the construction documents. Throughout this process, we maintain open communication to ensure that your project meets your expectations.
