P & K Sand & Gravel has been a trusted supplier in the Lakes Region area and beyond since 1970. We take pride in being one of the top suppliers of quality aggregate materials and a variety of services at competitive prices. Our History

P & K Sand & Gravel was founded in 1970 by Clinton Plummer and Ronald Knight. Clinton Plummer became the sole proprietor in 1971, and moved the base of operations to his home on Edes Falls Road. His wife, Lois, assumed the secretarial role for the company. Clinton's oldest son, Bruce, joined the family business in 1975, and his second son, Jeff, in 1979. With the addition of the first excavator on tracks in 1979, P & K Sand & Gravel expanded its market opportunities for larger commercial projects. The company moved to its current location in 1985 and became incorporated in 1989. In 1991, the Heath Quarry location was acquired, allowing the company to produce a greater variety and amount of product. Jeff's dream of a concrete division was fulfilled in 1995, but unfortunately, he did not see it come to fruition due to a fatal car crash. His dream lived on, and in 2006, the company installed a modern crusher plant to meet production goals. In 2020, Clint's grandson, Cory Mitchell, assumed the role of President, and Matt Plummer, Vice President, as the third generation of family-owned and operated P & K Sand & Gravel continues.

Excavation and Road Grading

Our experienced team of site planners and estimators are ready to assist you in laying the groundwork for your new projects. We have the expertise and equipment to handle all aspects of excavation and road grading, ensuring a solid foundation for your construction needs.

Aggregate Products

We offer a variety of stone aggregate products, as well as seasonal products such as compost, mulch, and salt sand. Our aggregate products include 3/8" washed stone, 1 1/2" crushed stone, 3" crushed stone, screened loam, and more. Our stone color changes depending on the veins that are blasted, and therefore, color is not guaranteed. We charge by the yard at both of our locations.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Self-handload is $15.00, and there is a minimum load charge of $25.00.
