Our Story
Our story began in August 1978, when Ed Nix joined ServiceMaster Corporation as a Housekeeping Manager in the Healthcare Services Division. He managed 13 employees in the housekeeping and laundry department of the Northwest Home for the Aged in Chicago, Illinois. From there, he received several promotions and new assignments with ServiceMaster, eventually becoming Senior Operations Manager - Europe. In December of 1989, Ed and his wife Nicki decided to own a business and learned of a small franchise available in Lincoln, Nebraska. They were impressed with the city and decided to check it out, eventually signing papers on the business and their new home.
