HFBulifant & Sons, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company that has been in business since 1977. Our family has been doing property renovations and home improvements for over 5 generations, which has allowed us to develop knowledge and experience that few other contractors can rival. This has given us the expertise in disaster repair including (but not limited to) water, fire, smoke, and storm damage, as well as the capabilities to do custom renovations and structural additions. Our staff consists of some of the finest craftsmen in the area who have worked with us for over 20-30 years. We are devoted to the customer's needs and concerns and strive for their satisfaction in any job we are involved in. We have maintained our position in this industry by consistently placing immense importance on the quality of our work, while still completing our jobs in the least amount of time possible with the fewest problems.

Fire & Smoke Damage

Fire and smoke damage can be one of the most devastating and extensive repair processes to your home or business. We are a 24 hour emergency service response company that is able to handle securing the property from any further damage, large or small. After the property is secured, an estimator surveys the damage to provide a detailed scope of work for the repairs. The estimator works with an insurance adjuster to get an agreed scope and price so that the repairs can get started as soon as possible. We work with all insurance companies to get this process resolved. Once the scope and price are agreed upon with the adjuster, the repairs are scheduled and the selections for finish items are gone over with the homeowner. The most crucial process for fire and smoke damage is the mitigation of the odor, which is something we have been doing for over 35 years. We are able to do any modifications from the original scope, expand rooms, move fixtures, or any other work outside the scope of repairs.

Water Restoration

Water damage can be extensive if not handled properly, stopping the water source, removing the water and drying out the structure as quickly as possible to save the structure is key in reducing the length of the repair process. We work with most water mitigation companies throughout the drying out process. Once the structure has been dried out, we will come in, scope the damage and put together a repair estimate for the insurance adjuster. Once the scope and price are agreed upon with the adjuster, the repairs are scheduled and the selections for finish items are discussed with the homeowner.
