Our team leads have a wealth of experience and a shared passion for innovative design. We take pride in our collaborative approach, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and goals.

Meet Our Team

Our team is composed of experienced architects, each with their own unique perspective and skills. Les Eerkes, AIA, is the founder and principal of the studio, bringing over 20 years of experience in architecture and a passion for nature and technology. Lauren Kim, AIA, is an associate and has a background in custom residential design and university housing. Jonathan Thwaites, AIA, is an associate and has a focus on exploring the edges between buildings and their surroundings. Matias Bervejillo is an architect with a passion for culture and material choices. Dave Wong is an architect who draws inspiration from his Hawaiian upbringing and loves of surfing and ukulele playing. Libby So is a project manager with a background in rural design and a passion for community engagement. Ryan Mann is a project manager with a focus on sustainable design and flying planes. LT Yoson is our studio manager, who brings a background in science and biology and is passionate about community arts and environmental education. Katie Sweeney and Rebecca Caddick are also part of our team, with a focus on bridging elevated design and rural climate and luxury hospitality design, respectively.

Our Work

We have had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, from custom residential designs to hospitality and commercial developments. Some of our notable projects include the Rockaway Beach Residence, the Tofino Beach Lodge, and the Hale Akoakoa project in Kaua'i. We are proud to work on projects that inspire responsible stewardship of our natural and built environments.
