At Schaffners Plumbing and Heating, we are proud of our rich history and the values that have guided us since our humble beginnings. In 1945, Fred Schaffner started providing service calls to his local community of Fountain City, Wisconsin, with a simple toolbox in hand. His dedication to hard work, honesty, and integrity laid the foundation for our company's growth and success.

Over the years, the Schaffner family has continued to instill these values into the business. In 1958, Virgil Sr. and Ruth Schaffner took over ownership, followed by Virgil Jr. and Deb Schaffner in 1993. Today, Virgil and Deb's three sons and nine other talented employees are part of the Schaffner team, ensuring that the family's tradition of excellence continues.

Our team is fully trained and certified for their respective jobs, holding licenses and certificates from the Department of Revenue, Department of Commerce, EPA, and WI DNR. We are also fully insured, including General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto, and Umbrella Liability.

Schaffners Plumbing and Heating offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of our customers. Our team specializes in heating, cooling, air quality, geothermal, and plumbing services. We are proud to be Lennox dealers since 1940 and have acquired other product lines over the years. We service and repair all brands, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Our commitment to our customers extends beyond just providing quality products and services. We are dedicated to being part of the communities we serve. Our management and employees are members of different organizations and churches, including Fire Departments, Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, National Guard, City and Township Governments. We are also members of several trade organizations such as WPHCC, NFIB, WWWA, and Chamber of Commerce (Local and National).

Our Offices

We have two convenient locations to serve you better. Our Fountain City office, located at 38 North Main, is in the original building but has undergone many upgrades. Our Arcadia office, located at 104 West Main, opened in 2006. Both offices are equipped with the latest technology and staffed with experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
