Schafer Woodworking was started by Keith Schafer in 1995 and was later purchased by Nick Gloede and his wife Kelly in 2021. Under their ownership, Schafer Woodworking continues to uphold the same high standards of quality, attention to detail, and premium construction that the company has always been known for. Our unique, personalized customer service is unparalleled, and we are dedicated to providing the best possible products and services to our clients.

Our Team

Our team at Schafer Woodworking is made up of experienced professionals with a passion for creating beautiful, functional woodwork. We have a combined 61 years of carpentry experience and a wealth of knowledge and skill in the art of custom woodworking. Our team members include:

• Brian: Brian has worked at Schafer Woodworking for 12 years and has 26 years of carpentry experience. He lives in Holmen with his wife, Brenda, and their two kids. Brian enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family when he is not at work.
• John: John has been doing custom cabinetry for 25 years and has worked at Schafer Woodworking for 15 years. He grew up in Onalaska and now lives in Holmen with his wife, Tracy, and their son, Johnny. John enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching his son play baseball and basketball.
• Rick: Rick has been finishing woodwork for four years and has worked at Schafer Woodworking for two years. He grew up in St. Paul and now lives in La Crosse with his wife, Carolyn. Rick enjoys cooking, grilling, and making hot sauces.
