Tradewind Sound was founded by Brian Thomas in 1981, in San Angelo, Texas, with a passion for music and sound. Growing up, Brian was surrounded by music enthusiasts, including his grandfather and two uncles who played in a regional band. This exposure nurtured his interest in music and sound, and he soon learned how to operate and build his first sound system. As he grew older, so did his knowledge and the quality of his sound systems. His goal was to provide excellence in customer service and the highest quality sound possible. This vision led to the formation of Tradewind Sound, a company destined to become a highly regarded, nationally recognized provider. Today, Tradewind Sound proudly offers a wide range of services, including backline rentals, lighting rentals, sound system rentals, and stage rentals, making it a one-stop shop for concert or event productions. Whether it's for a small gathering or a massive event, Tradewind Sound has the equipment and expertise to make your event a success.

Tradewind Sound's installation division specializes in audio, video, and lighting system integration for commercial spaces.
