Our Story

Our journey began when our founder, Daria Paxton, graduated from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a degree in visual arts. Her passion for botany and ecology led her to pursue additional studies in these fields. In 2003, Daria successfully completed the Rutgers Master Gardener Program in Bergen county. Her extensive travels across the continental US, Japan, Costa Rica, and Spain have also profoundly influenced her approach to landscaping. These experiences have allowed her to develop a deep understanding of historic gardens, plant origins, and various styles from around the world.
