Our Team

Dave Puccio has been a residential home builder for over 35 years. He started his career after graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a business degree. With his family deeply rooted in the construction industry, he pursued his own path and built a passion for excellence in building quality custom homes. He and his family made the decision to move his company from Metro Detroit up to Benzie County in 2005 and his business has been located in Honor ever since.

Paul Smoes has been involved in all aspects of building since a young age. While studying at University of Detroit Mercy he received a Masters Degree of Architecture. He worked in Detroit for 8 years with a high profile sports design architecture firm, ROSSETTI. After marrying Dave's daughter he found himself "moonlighting" and drawing for many Portland Buildings projects. After getting more involved in Portland Building he and his wife decided to take a leap of faith and move back up north to Benzie County, in hopes to carry on the family tradition.
