Serving Western Washington since 1995, MDK Construction, Inc is a general contractor that has grown from a small family operation into one of the largest and most respected contractors in the area. Our growth has been steady and well-navigated, with a recent move to our new location allowing for added efficiency in all our operations. Our team includes a diverse range of professionals, from our field staff of full-time tradesmen and laborers to our core subcontractors. Our field staff generally numbers between 12 and 18 individuals, with many having been with MDK for 5-20 years. We offer health care plans and retirement benefits to all employees, as well as staff events throughout the year. In addition to our full-time staff, we maintain a database of over 100 vetted subcontractors, ensuring we have the flexibility and expertise needed to successfully complete projects.

Our management team is comprised of experienced professionals, including our owner and president, Mike Koidahl, who has been instrumental in shaping the company's culture of excellence. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting our community. Our sales manager, Steve Barnett, brings over 30 years of experience in construction management and is responsible for overseeing project management from sales through completion. Our administrative team, including Ann Farner, ensures that all aspects of our operations are smoothly managed, from accounting and contract compliance to human resources and professional office protocols.
