What began as a modest store on 9th and Broadway in 1950, expanded into the remarkable showroom situated at NW 63rd and NW Expressway in 1966. This new location not only housed an expanded inventory of exquisite furniture but also signaled the beginning of a vibrant furniture district, with renowned designer Norman Wilks and premium carpet store Moormans Carpet establishing themselves as neighbors. This strategic location provided a one-stop shopping destination for discerning customers seeking high-quality furnishings and expert design advice.

The Continuing Legacy

The passing of L.F. Heenan in 1975 did not mark the end of the journey but rather the beginning of a new chapter. His wife, Eugenia, took the reins, expertly guiding the store for another decade before entrusting it to new stewards: Randy Bingham and Tom McGannon. In 1986, Mr. Bingham and Mr. McGannon ushered in an era of collaboration, forging strong relationships with local designers, a practice that continues to be deeply ingrained in the fabric of Heenan's success.

Finally, in 2011, Amy Williamson, a seasoned and dedicated designer who had been an integral part of the Heenan's team for many years, became the proud owner, ensuring the continuation of the Heenan's legacy of excellence and unwavering commitment to its customers.
