Questions
What makes wide plank flooring unique?
Wide plank flooring showcases natural wood grain patterns with planks 4 inches or wider. This traditional option provides a distinctive, high-end aesthetic compared to standard strip flooring.
How do I maintain my Vonderosa floor?
Regular maintenance involves simple dust-mopping or sweeping. For deeper cleaning, use water with a recommended cleaner. Avoid excessive moisture to maintain optimal floor condition.
Do wood floors fade over time?
Real wood doesn't fade. Most hardwoods actually darken or richen over time. Proper UV protection helps maintain consistent coloration across your flooring surface.
How does pricing compare to premium brands?
Vonderosa offers competitive pricing 20-30% below national premium brands like Carlisle. Our direct-to-consumer model eliminates middleman costs while maintaining superior quality standards.
What installation options exist?
We recommend experienced installers familiar with wide plank flooring. Our team provides guidance throughout the installation process and can coordinate professional installation services when needed.
How do I acclimate the flooring?
Proper acclimation requires 2 weeks of sticker-stacking inside your home before installation. This process ensures optimal moisture balance to prevent future expansion or contraction issues.
