In 1954, William H. House founded Mt. Pleasant Blacktopping as an excavating company in Fairfield, OH. We remain a family-owned-and-operated company to this day and continue to honor his reputation for impressive work and excellent customer service. Following the company's early years, we moved into underground utility work, for which we were known to move over one million cubic yards of dirt in a single project. In 1980, we expanded into the asphalt paving industry, with a specific emphasis on commercial paving and blacktopping. We're also proud to be the manufacturers of our own asphalt. We even have our own plant and quality control lab. By combining all our skills, resources, and professional experiences, we can easily and expertly transform raw ground into a completed development.
