Founded in 1953, Papp Architects, P. C. is a multi-disciplinary architectural firm that has been dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions for over six decades. Our firm is led by principals Philip Fruchter, AIA, and Jeffrey Hinksmon, AIA, who bring diverse backgrounds and expertise to the table, enabling us to provide a wide range of architectural design solutions for various building types, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, religious, multi-family housing, recreational facilities, infrastructure improvements, interior design, and site planning.

Leadership

Our leadership team consists of experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise. Philip A. Fruchter, AIA, is the Managing Principal of the firm, with over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the architecture profession. Jeffrey M. Hinksmon, AIA, LEED AP, has extensive experience with residential and commercial projects and heads our LEED, sustainable design, and production department.

Mission Critical Projects

Papp Architects has a range of experience in designing mission-critical facilities that require precise planning and attention to detail. Some of our notable projects include:

  • IBM Utility Distribution Replacement in Westchester County, New York, where we replaced existing underground utilities with a new underground tunnel using a Tunnel Boring Machine.
  • Mission Critical Project in New York, which involved designing a hardened sub-station building with dual 4,000-amp services and four 1,000 kw emergency generators.
  • Data Center in Connecticut, designed to support 200-person trading floor operations for a large financial services firm, featuring redundant electrical utility service, UPS system, emergency generators, and critical room air conditioning system.

Industrial Projects

Our industrial projects include:

  • Morrell & Company the Wine Emporium, Ltd. in Briarcliff Manor, New York, a 45,000-square-foot wine store on a 9.4-acre site.
